CORRIDOR-Interreg

CORRIDOR is an Interreg France-Wallonie-Vlaanderen project led by Sharkey Predictim Globe, with the Antwerp Maritime Academy as partner. It turns the AI corrosion models built in SOCORRO into an operational monitoring service: the academy's ship collects new data in Wallonia and Hauts-de-France, the models are tuned on it, and port industries on both sides of the border get a bilingual dashboard. Over 18 months the project covers 4 measurement sites and 6 sea campaigns, with validation by at least 8 industrial users.

How the programme is structured

Design Motif

AI corrosion prediction across the France–Belgium border

Project Designation

Operational corrosion monitoring for steel in seawater and river water: field campaigns, AI model optimisation and a bilingual dashboard for cross-border port industries.

Consortium
  • Sharkey Predictim Globe (Lead partner)
  • Antwerp Maritime Academy (Hogere Zeevaartschool, Partner)

01

Cross-border field data

New measurement campaigns in Wallonia and Hauts-de-France aboard the Antwerp Maritime Academy's ship: 4 measurement sites and 6 sea campaigns.

02

AI models from SOCORRO, optimised

The corrosion prediction models developed in SOCORRO are retrained and tuned on the new data, for maritime and river environments.

03

Bilingual dashboard for port industry

An operational dashboard for cross-border port and waterway operators, validated by at least 8 industrial users.
